Monkey business

I’m a little monkey who lived up in the sky
Among the leaves and branches a happy soul was I
Till one day some crazy humans with buzz saws in the their hands
Came from miles across the sea from some foreign lands
Started cutting down our trees destroyed our habitat
Trust degenerate humans to pull a stunt like that
It seems that one called Darwin whose brains were in his boots
Said they’re our descendents a fact that none refutes
Although we are but animals we don’t foul our own nests
If we had the minds of humankind we’d never be content until we’d polluted planet earth destroyed the environment
