O why can’t we be
Like the little honey bee
Who visits the flowers and plants
And the blossoms on the tree
Covering many a hectare
Seeking out the nectar
Providing lots of honey
For you and for me
Out amongst the heather
In all kinds of weather
Helping mother nature
Make the flowers thrive and grow
Down in the hive they all contrive
To live in peace and harmony
To work and not to skive
When from work they all arrive
They dance a little jive
To explain where the nectar is
They all need to survive
The moral of this story
For us humans is quite plain
Cut out the competion
In cooperation we all gain.
