The tenants of Earth
How wondrous is our planet earth
Gave each and everyone our birth
Though some of us cannot accept the view
The earth’s not ours we’re merely passing through
We will find pollution has no merit
For our children’s children to inherit
Won’t thank us when global warming is a fact
And wondered why the hell we didn’t act
And when the tides and rivers burst their banks
They’re sure to give us all a vote of thanks
